If questioned, each of us has a sense; an awareness, of how clearly and successfully we are able to communicate our ideas. There are many roles we play throughout our lives that at times require more from us. The workplace is an important place. On average a person will spend one third of their lives invested in their place of work. For many, the ability to communicate effectively and precisely is necessary for the job itself. For others, vocal communication may be a small part of our work. One thing, however, is true for all of us. We will all need to communicate on some level with others.
Forms of communication are vast. You may be lecturing at a University, speaking at a company function, talking on television, presenting new ideas at a sales meeting, pitching an idea over the telephone. It could even be practicing the big speech for your best friends wedding. The venues are endless. Regardless of how much experience you have or have had in the past, practice and coaching is imperative. It shouldn’t surprise you to know that some of our greatest speakers in the world which include politicians, actors of stage and screen, motivational speakers, life coaches will have coaches working closely with them before, during and after their performances. All successful speakers have one thing in common and that is a continual practice. The practice itself is delivered and supported by their mentors, coaches, teachers, guides or instructors.
I have specifically dedicated a page on my website to actors and a more elaborate set of options for individuals; non-actors, because I coach both. Listed at the bottom of this page you will see options based on what you feel may best suit your immediate need and where you feel you may be as a speaker now. We will discuss your coaching needs thoroughly so please simply use the titles as guides to direct you toward something specific, something that you feel may suit your requirement. When we talk we will discuss everything in more detail.
